Had Thiem -2.5 sets

Thiem goes up 2 sets to 0 and his opponent retires (pissed me off).

My wager shows up as a loss.

Shouldnt i get a push on this?

I had thiem to win in parlays. 5dimes counts it as a win since it must go 1 full set. Intertops voids the bet since the match wasn't completed. Different rules at different books but I always read the rules before I place a bet.

Yeah i was giving 2.5 sets. Once the other guy retired, my book graded it as a loss and i was confused.

Finally got the push

Betting tennis for the first time today in a while. NOthing like being 0-3-1 for the day.

Guess i'll take a break from Tennis today!!

Hate tennis retirement rules.
should be action once one set is complete.
Been burned many times on this, usually by Djokovic.

I had a massive wager on Wawrinka last year over joker and he was up 2 sets 0 and a break I believe and Novak retired and it was no action on a huge dog. shady

what gets me is then I had a big matchup in golf on DJ over someone (Koepka?) and DJ retired after one round and it was graded a loss.
insult to injury the other guy missed the cut and I still lost.

Why not just play at a book that has those rules? Many books you would have won on Stan.

One rule i always use on tennis. When betting a dog use the books that have the 1 set rule, when betting the favorite use the books that a retirement is no action.

This is especially true when betting massive dogs or favs.

Question:

I have a live bet going for over/under number of games.

I have the over and the over is going to hit

The match is currently in a rain delay. If the match does NOT resume until tomorrow, will by wager be voided? (i know i should read the rules but figure you guys may have better insight)

thx

The wager will stand.

I have had wagers on tennis matches that have went for days.
